Toronto Crime Stoppers
416-222-8477 (TIPS)
Be advised, if your intent is to use our reporting platform as an avenue to threaten or cause harm to any person, place or thing; or for any other illegal purpose other than to legitimately report a crime you will not be protected by Crime Stoppers privilege.
Since 1984 Crime Stoppers has helped change the face of criminal activity in Toronto while helping build a safer city by partnering with community leaders, media and the Toronto Police Service.

The program has an incredible history, but as we move into the future, we have created an opportunity to appeal to the individual’s desire to serve the greater good.

The foundation of Crime Stoppers is our promise of anonymity and we have always made good on that. We will continue this promise and remind everyone that tipping is anonymous, and no one will ever know who made the call.

The Crime Stoppers mission remains the same; provide concerned citizens the ability to report crime anonymously - but our new opportunity lies in our reward system...or rather, removing it.

We believe that a program benefiting the greater good is more suited to the type of individuals who come forward rather than individuals who are motivated by monetary benefit. And for that reason, Toronto Crime Stoppers has put an end to individual rewards and replaced them with a program that channels money back into the communities we serve.

As such, Toronto Crime Stoppers will be looking for opportunities to support Crime Prevention Through Community Engagement initiatives that work to improve community safety and empower a movement of a crime free Toronto.

Please complete the on-line application.

Disclaimer: Toronto Crime Stoppers receives an overwhelming number of requests to support initiatives through our Community Reward Program. We believe all initiatives that work towards a crime free Toronto are important, however funding is limited. Our Board of Director’s is committed to carefully review all applications that are submitted and will select those initiatives that fit within our mission of community safety throughout the calendar year.
